A Happy Memory

When you looked at me in my eyes

And they somehow told me that you like me

I felt so happy

Even if we know that it's just what they call "puppy love"

Anyway, we are nothing more but that is because we're happy of the friendship we have

As time went by, we had to chase our own dreams,

No matter how big they are in size

No matter if what we want to be when we grow up is still hard for us to realize

Even if they are about to burst through the seams

No matter how far they are in distance

We're ready to prance and go to countries like UK and France

Yes, indeed, we've been part of each other's lives

Exchanged hugs and hi-fives

Together at school and life we did thrive

Remembered the times we made noise like we're bees in a bee hive

Remembered the times when we were like a cemetery because we're in hush

Remembered the times you looked or smiled at me then I'd blush

Because you are my first secret crush

You left me a good and happy memory

And will always be a part of my life, you see

Sadly, I think that's how things are supposed to be

For ashes and wine like you and me
